The pitch shot is when you are close to the green and need to fly the ball vs run the ball to the green. We use a similar stance to the chip shot except our feet are a little wider and we are balanced in our setup. The swing itself requires us to allow our wrists to cock on both sides of the ball, this will allow us to flip the clubhead under the ball to loft it up into the air. The length of our swing controls the distance the ball travels. Be sure to use a lofted club such as a Pitching Wedge, Sand Wedge or Lob Wedge to get our desired flight. Also be sure to follow through, one of the most common errors is to decelerate into the ball. ALSO: Send this to anyone you think could benefit and call us if you need help.
